WAN2LAN INC. ("WAN2LAN," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about the types of information we collect, how we use and share that information, and the steps we take to protect your privacy. This policy covers our provision of Internet access and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. This information generally falls into the following categories:

This includes information that can be used to identify you directly:

• Account Information: Name, billing address, phone number, email address, service address, and other information related to your account and service subscription.
• Payment Information: Credit card or bank account information used for billing (collected and stored securely, often by a third-party payment processor).

2. Network and Usage Information

This information relates to your use of our Services:

• Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI): As defined by the FCC, this includes information relating to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, and amount of use of a telecommunications service subscribed to by any customer, and which is made available to the carrier by the customer's relationship with the carrier. This often includes billing, payment, call detail, and service location information.
• IP Addresses: The Internet Protocol addresses assigned to your devices and equipment.
• Network Management Information: Data related to network performance, transmission rates, data volumes, and information used to manage and optimize our network.
• Web Browsing and Application Usage (Sensitive Information): Information about the websites you visit, the content of your communications, and the applications you use. Note: WAN2LAN does not routinely collect or retain this information unless required for network management, law enforcement, or as described in Section 2.

3. Equipment Information

Information about the equipment we provide you (e.g., modem, router) or which you use with our Services, including device type, operating system, and hardware identifiers.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Providing and Managing Service: To establish, maintain, and manage your account, deliver and troubleshoot the Services, process billing and payments, and service our network.
• Customer Communication: To communicate with you about your service, account status, policy changes, and service interruptions.
• Service Improvement and Personalization: To analyze usage of our network to perform research, develop new services, and improve the quality of our existing Services.
• Marketing Our Services: To market our own communications-related services and equipment that are commonly offered in connection with your Services.
• Protection and Security: To protect our customers, employees, and property; to prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Services; and to comply with legal requests.

Sharing Your Information

We share your information in the following limited circumstances:

1. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as billing, payment processing, technical support, and marketing. These providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was provided.

2. Legal Requirements and Law Enforcement

We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, such as in response to a subpoena, warrant, or other legal process, or to protect our rights and property.

3. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Affiliates

We may share information with our corporate affiliates for purposes consistent with this policy.

5. Consent

We may share your information with third parties with your express consent.

Your Choices and Controls

1. CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information)

As an Internet carrier, WAN2LAN is restricted in how we may use and share your CPNI. We will use CPNI to provide and manage the Services you have purchased. We may use your CPNI to market additional communications-related services to you. You have the right to request that we Opt-Out of using your CPNI for marketing purposes. Your choice will not affect the provision of the Services you already receive.

2. Sensitive Information (Web Browsing/App Usage)

While WAN2LAN does not routinely collect web browsing history or application usage for commercial purposes, should we decide to do so for purposes beyond network management or legal compliance, we will provide you with a Opt-In choice and obtain your affirmative consent before using or sharing such sensitive data with third parties.

3. Do Not Track (DNT)

We do not currently take action to respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, or modification. However, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of an unauthorized disclosure of your personal information (a "Data Breach"), we will comply with all applicable legal requirements regarding notification to affected customers and, where required, to the appropriate governmental agencies, including the FCC, in a timely manner.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will provide notice to you as required by law, such as by posting a notice on our website or sending a direct communication. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
